Incoming call hook
Is there a way to hook an incoming call? Via dbus or something like this...
And after hooking it, can I refuse it or mute the ringtone? |
Re: Incoming call hook
Hi, did you find out anything about this?

Re: Incoming call hook
no... but I hadn't time to search deeper

Re: Incoming call hook
Hi,
here is the same problem like for the sms handling. This is done by using the telepathy framework. We are working on improvements in the documentation and some examples on how to do that, as it is not a trivial task. Stay tuned on that! Daniel |

The lack of documentation re: call events prevents all sorts of interesting applications. For example: it would seem quite trivial to implement a voice-synthesized call announcement using flite or espeak if only we could get call events. |
Re: Incoming call hook
Getting a call event is easy - open x-terminal, run
dbus-monitor --system | tee /tmp/lll Call your phone, and examine the file /tmp/lll. |
Re: Incoming call hook
If you find this strange, you must be new here.
