tversity media streaming

Does anyone use Tversity for streaming media to their consoles from their pc?

i'm wondering if the N900 works in picking up Tversity server over the LAN?

I've seen a thread for knot2 but i'd rather just have a server with no client required since there's an xbox, ps3, wii that are used in my house for playing media from my pc.

I'm using tversity works good, only thing that sucks is that i don'tknow how to change the aspect ratio so that some movies fill only 1/3 of the screen.

why do you only want to fill 1/3 of the screen? do you mean keep the existing aspect ration of 4:3 on a 16:4 screen?

The presets are kept in some XML files, you can change almost everything there.

i've used my tversity server over the net for streaming music to my psp.

the reason i like tversity is that i don't need a client install. just a web browser. i'd rather not have 2 media servers for different devices. ps3,xbox,wii,psp,n900, work pc, etc.

i will give knots a test run though as i'm always looking out for new apps.
