MPlayer: switching away and back causes keyboard not to work
 

When I start MPlayer from the command line, switch away using Ctrl-Backspace, then switch back, the keyboard does not work (pressing keys brings up contacts, just like from the desktop).

Has anyone else seen this? Is there something I'm doing wrong or is this a bug in MPlayer?

It looks like it's not accepting focus at all... When I start it from the command line, the keyboard input goes to the terminal window, so it looks like it works. If I start it from SiB, or from a remote SSH session, keyboard input does not work at all.
