Playing youtube urls with the maemo5 mediaplayer
 

Hi all,

I'm experimenting with using the built-in mediaplayer to play youtube videos from get_video urls and the mediaplayer dbus interface as documented in the wiki: http://wiki.maemo.org/Phone_control#...end-media-play

This works fine for flv formatted videos (assuming the decoder support package is installed) but when I use the mp4 formats, the media player gets confused and follows its audio player path and then fails.

Is there any other dbus api that can force it to do the right thing? or some other trick?
