so the phone bricked today...
 

downloading the flasher and image for the phone now. It was strange though, was playing openarena, and then all of a sudden the game hung with the sound continueing to repeat. I have been trying to clear this one level for forever, and it keeps crashing half way into the match. So I was attempting it again when it crashed with the sound looping. Tried pushing the power button for the end task button, but didn't work, so i just unplugged the battery. When I plugged it back in, the dreaded frozen load bar on the 2nd circle happened.

The only thing I can think of is I installed the codecs for the movie player. Because before that I never had any problems everything ran fine. I rebooted everytime I used wi-fi and remembered to powerdown every once in awhile to avoid the reboot bricking. Anyone else having any problems with openarena?

Reflash it. Thats what you get for playing with extras/devel :)

Im avoiding that section entirely!

The game may be using the root filesystem for saving/processing game-data. My guess is that It worked until it ran out of space. I suggest reporting a bug with the open-arena maintainers.

Boot in R&D mode. Search the forum. It might solve it.
