How do you upload videos taken by the N900?

This device is frustrating me more as the days go by. It really is just a brick at the moment!

I have taken a video using the N900 camera and I want to upload from the phone to Facebook or Youtube etc.

Is there a way to send videos to these services similar to that of photos?

Use pixelpipe or the normal methods!

I have pixelpipe installed but it doesn't come up anywhere?

If i click the video in file manager, it doesn't give me any options to SEND.

By normal methods I guess you mean go to the site via the browser?

Normal methods use the website = Yes :)

PixelPipe has an application to install and then you should be fine. Demo on you tube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TO--oQH9lk

Instructions on PixelPipe for the N900 can be found here: http://blog.pixelpipe.com/2009/10/17...ith-pixelpipe/ just scroll down a bit and the screenshots are shown too.

Let us know how you get on! :)

There is a share button you need to press, when you are on the selected video you want to share.

Oh right! Found it!

I had it installed and it worked fine for images. I just didn't see the share icon when you tap a video. It comes up on the bottom left.

However, i guess Petrovich which is supposed to allow you send any file from file manager doesn't work properly as far as I can tell.

Thanks!

Is YouTube one of the supported inbuilt options??

Using Pixelpipe plugin on the N900 you can share your pjotos and video with a multitude of sites.

Check out the pixelpipe site for the different sharing options (adding a pipe)
http://pixelpipe.com/destinations/add

So all you really need is pixelpipe plugin on the N900 and based on your pixel pipe account settings - you can now share the photos/vedios with all that you have setup as your pipes in Pixelpipes (including YouTube).
Edit : to answer Fargus's question - no Youtube is not one of the built-in options as yet.
Only built-in options are Flickr, OVI, and Pixelpipe.

If you use Pixelpipe yes.

You just need to go to pixelpipe, login with your account, setup youtube as a pipe. Then tag whatever videos you want to send to youtube as @youtube and send them through pixelpipe.

I meant in-built as in vanilla N900 - thought it was being suggested that the use of share without PixelPipe would do it.
