Last rumors says thay new FW will be available after Xmas.

It would be pure lunacy to make new firmware available just before christmas. Every release has its risks, companies don't make those just before public holidays.

Seriously, it'll happen when it's ready. And no, I doubt it will be before Christmas: if it goes wrong, some poor bugger would have to work all over the holiday to put it right.

My gut feeling is that we wont see it in 2009
