/opt disappeared?
 

I've got something strange going on with my device. After a software crash I rebooted but the /opt dir disappeared.

The /home/opt symlink is just gone and when I type ls in the root dir, I still see /opt, but when I do cd opt it says: -sh: cd: can't cd to /opt

More on, when I try to flash the complete eMMC it starts up but then stops with the message : SU_GET_UPDATE_STATUS_REQ terminated with error code 1.

Any help is appreciated!

Ok , I misunderstood about the symlink. /opt links to /home/opt which was apparently removed ... just creating the /home/opt dir fixes that again.

Still i lost everyting in there, and also have the error when reflashing eMMC

since you trying to reflash try formating emmc first, no idea if it will help but it wont hurt if you already backup and ready for reflash.

I met the same problem ...who can help my N900. It can't boot anymore .
