How to zoom in and out of pictures?
 

Hey guys I tried to zoom images but it just won't do it. There definitely no zoom functionality added into this OS. Can anyone write a small add on application to zoom images in the Photos? This is very handy if someone could write one up. Or show me the way to the solution.

Try to zoom using volume buttons.

Or by moving your finger in a clockwise direction on the photo.

The circular motion does not work. But the volume keys work.

I think Nokia should iimplementing on screen zoom button or may be circular motion zoom every where in the OS

Yes I find it super annoying that the zoom action only works in the browser.

I didn't even know that it can be ZOOM at first lol. I just learn how to zoom from the guy above

Same here.

I also find it super annoying that the volume buttons are used for this as often I will be playing music and suddenly a quiet/loud track will come on and I have to go back to the task switcher to alter the volume. I personally would like to completely turn off zoom using the volume keys and have it entirely using the circular motion on the touch screen. Although I am getting a Jabra BT3030 so hopefully that will work for volume control instead so I will no longer have this problem.

Bottom line, the N900 should have had more buttons. I do not agree with this new trend of having as few buttons as possible because its a touch screen.

You can learn a lot of things by reading the User Guide. ;)
