N900 FM radio
 

I'm not sure how to report bugs for testing applications so I thought this is as good a place as any.
with the fm radio if left untuned the signal just fizzles out and mutes. the only way to get sound back is to exit the app and open it again.

Hi Cue! You have to go to the testing page of the app (For the FM Radio Player: http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...io/2009.12.19/, but you have to be sure of the application version) and click on "Report a bug in this project's bugtracker". There should be a bugracker for every app in testing!

thanks torpedo. I'll be sure to do that from now on. After I posted I found that there is a new version (2009.12.19) I'll check if it has been fixed.

Are you sure that your actually installed version is a testing version? If you have downloaded it from the Extras repository, it is not in testing and you can report its bugs in Bugzilla (http://bugs.maemo.org)! The new version you have just found may be an upgrade in testing repository, I'm not sure because I've not installed the FM yet!

I have extras-testing enabled and I install updates from the extras-testing repository. so I think it's the testing version but I'm not entirely sure. It's no longer happening so I assume it has been fixed or there is something I missed trying to recreate the bug. otherwise all seems well now. Thanks for the tips on bug reporting.

Good to hear that it's no longer happening.

As of now (Dec 25 2009), version 2009.12.13 is the current stable version while 2009.12.19 is the testing version.
