AT&T Wireless @ Starbucks, browser can't handle login?

I just discovered yesterday that the n900's stock browser can't seem to handle the usual AT&T wireless (wifi) login page @ Starbucks... gets hung-up with some kind of 'Please enter your password' OS dialog, even if you enter a password in the form on the login page.

Unfortunately, the current workaround seems to be... install Fennec, and Fennec works fine on the same login page :-/

Confirmed today. Quite annoying, appears to be a Javascript bug.

Sound like a place for http://bugs.maemo.org
Most annoyingly I can't even connect to the hotspot due to WPS bug, although there is a work around by adding the hotspot manually, but this isn't how an end-user meant to use the device

Rather pathetic.
The browser on my N810 have no problem logging onto Starbucks/AT&T

It works, but you can't use the splash page to log in. I don't recall whether it's clicking the log in button with no username/password entered or if there's someplace else on the page you click to get the dedicated login page, but I am absolutely sure I was using it a couple of days ago.

I'll document the workaround next time I'm at Starbucks.

Hmm, I think one workaround is to click the 'Connect to the Internet' button, rather than the 'Login' button, and submitting credentials on the form on the page that follows seems to work with the stock n900 browser.

Funny thing, the secondary page seems to give a javascript error on the n810 MicroB browser (running most recent Diablo release).that the first page raised for the n900 browser :-/
