[Under consideration] Improve the task management support to Calendar
 

I am using PDA and smartphones for many years.
For me most important programs is Contacts, Calendar, Tasks and Phone.
In N900 Calendar and Tasks really too weak.

I think very simple improvement in Calendar experience can be made just by adding 3 button. Now from Monthly view we can easily jump to weekly view (by pressing week number button) and to Agenda (by pressing on a Day). Unfortunately Weekly view you can jump only to Agenda (by pressing on ad Day) and from Agenda you cannot jump to Weekly and Monthly...
Now you can do it only through opening menu.

I think will be great to add 3 buttons:
1) in Weekly view present button for jump to Monthly view. I think very good place for this button is left upper conner which now is empty.
2) in Agenda view present 2 buttons to jump in Weekly and Monthly view.

I'd like to see copy-paste feature for calender events. Now it practically breaks my balls to add some irregular schoolmonths there.

Isn´t it nice to have categorisation of calendar entries, like ¨personal¨, öffice¨ and so on ?? so that it can be filtered ?

I'd appreciate the following enhancements to the calender:

- The ability to clone (copy-paste) calendar events.
- A way to classify appointments as tentative, completed, and cancelled.
- Setting preferences for all new events, like "no alarm", a default start time etc.
- A week view that shows the entire day, if that can be done, or another way of listing such that all events on a day are visible without having to scroll the screen.
- A choice to enter dates and times using the keyboard instead of scrolling through the numbers and tapping them on the screen.

I'd like to be able to change the default alarm time (to none).

I'd like to be able to see tasks on the calendar widget, right now shows 7 tasks not done. I'd like to see at least 2 of the tasks.

Hi everybody,

my suggestion is a possibility to delete a single event from an recurring event. E.g you set an event on monday coming up every week, but then you'd like to delete it in the weeks you have holidays.

I would like to see the option for fortnightly when you set an event to repeat,as I'm sure I'm not the only person to have events occur every 2 weeks and would like a little reminder!

In new (52) was added alarms to tasks!!!!

When I have to add a task in my agenda I usually think in terms of "next monday" or "the last saturday of April" but not in terms of "March, the 16th", becouse I need a calendar to know that next monday will be March the 16th...

So, I'd like to have a different interface to add events where I can select the day from a week / month view instead of 3 sliding day / month / year.

Uh, could you please tell me where I can find the calendar widget if I want to add it to my desktop?
