I like your thinking. But Boxee is just a gui and meta-searcher for other video sources on the net like hulu, veoh, netflifx, etc. Since we don't have polished/working flash v10 we can't watch most of those videos. Websites like Hulu actively block our mobile devices anyway. And Netflix uses microsoft silverlight.... i know moonlight is a linux alternative but i don't think it works for netflix.
