Can an x86 emulator (bochs/qemu) be used with wine as a game emulator for low level (2d) Directx games?

I was thinking bout windows 95 games/apps running ontop an x86 (bochs/qemu) emulator with wine. Like could this work to get some low level apps like windows 95 2d games running on an n900?

I don't really see how wine works into this because it won't work on an ARM processor like the N900's.

Maybe if you could more clearly express what you're trying to say somebody could help you.

For starters, what 2d games do you have in mind?

I know wine doesn't work on arm, thats why I'd run a lite os with wine, like Damn small linux with wine through an arm compiled bochs/qemu. The neverhood is the game.

You will get less than 1 fps.
