Mer Installer not working for n8x0
 
In some reason mer installer for n8x0 doesnt working (http://trac.tspre.org/merinstaller.install).

Need some libs:

libgcc1(>=1:4.2.1) and libssl 0.9.8(>=0.9.8f-5)

any suggestion how to make installer working ?

libgcc1 is in Maemo 5 device root filesystem..... n8x0 is not Maemo5

Im confused, Installer for Maemo4 need Maemo5 libs?!

I fix the problem ….

Go to repository catalog and check repositories > you having some catalog which is for Fremantle (in distribution section)... delete this catalog .... and your problem will be fixed


Application manager--> tools--> application calalogue.... then check all catalogues in distribution section which contains fremantle -->!delete!
