Wishlist: Two small tools for n900

I am a developer and could do this myself, but my current set of maemo apps keeps me busy enough. So perhaps someone else is searching for ideas:

- I'd like some tool to switch between the profiles via some timer. I e.g. want the phone to be in silent mode after 10pm and to become noisy again after 6am.

- I'd like some app to adjust the fm transmitter power. This can be done by writing to /sys/class/i2c-adapter/i2c-2/2-0063/power_level, so a simple applet like the simple-brightness-applet should do. Or some extension for the fmtx desktop widget

I started working on a more intelligent profile switcher, nothing working yet, its only at a brainstorming phase. Maybe someone is interested to help me :)

Take a look at:
http://git.pipapo.org/?p=profiled;a=blob;f=profiled.lua

My plan is to prototype this in Lua and later port/extend it to C.

That depends on the receiver and whether anything else is transmitting on nearby frequencies

I think something similar is also being developed via shepherd.
