Email application bug
 

i did setup my live email ( hotmail ) and its working on n900, but theres a bug for example i receive 3 emails on my n900 i delete them , then i go on pc check my inbox and those 3 emails are available in the inbox, or when i get mail in my inbox on pc and delete them they are still availabe on my n900, is this application desgned to work like that , like same email but independant inboxes or what ?

Yeah I believe it's a bug. Since even if you turn off "leave messages on server" it will still do that.

that and also it's impossible to delete the mail on the phone if it's just received.
can anyone confirm this?

Blame Microsoft for only offering POP3 support and not IMAP. POP means you download to the device and then whatever you do to them is local.

https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5417 will be fixed in next major firmware release.

see also POP3 email on N900 and bugzilla 2922. Worked perfectly on my Nokia E90 (S60) so it's not a limitation of POP3. Just the N900
