Hi
Is there anyway to remove the function from the desktop which allows you move and delete widgets from the desk top?

I keep accidentally deleting and moving things around and moving things between desktops - its a pita!

Would be better if this can be activated by clicking the battery/time/profile area.

You cant move/close stuff without entering the "editting option"....

So:
1) don't tap on the Gear icon.
2) Don't keep the background tapped for 2 seconds long on the same spot.

This way, nothing will happen to your desktop widgets

it is easy to accidentally touch the screen which opens the editor, resulting in things being moved and before you know it, deleted. This is why I'd be interested in changing how this works or possibly everriding it with an app that puts the editor into the top left battery/connection menu instead of having the random gear icon on its own.

I do the same thing putting it into my pocket.. end up with crap moved all over the place.. just annoying is all
