Is google docs a viable alternative to a dedicated document editor on the n900
Hi,
As per the title , is google docs through the browser a good enough experience to take away the need to have an installed document editor ? I expect a harsh reaction to this but as the applications are limited and it seems that it will be a while before there is a dedicated document editor I wanted to check with users who are using google docs, Cheers, MB |

I wouldn't say it's the best alternative (since I usually have to use the mouse function in the browser to get to some options) but it works well until an alternative arrives.

I think it would be cool to have an app which logs into your google account and allows you to create/read/modify your google docs (instead of doing it with the browser)

Is the "full version" of Docs to Go not ready yet? It worked great on my WinMo device, but I haven't had a chance, nor need, to look into it for the 900 yet.

I dont think it is , please if anyone can prove me wrong that would be great lol!
I sent back my HD2 for the n900 which had everything as standard and for free ( apart from the ability to be reliable!) MB |
