omweather's weather.com and gismeteo.ru retrieval URLs
 

I'd like to develop a CLI weather app with forecast ability for GNU Emacs.

Trying to decipher omweather's source code as I just need the weather.com and gismeteo.ru URL's for retrieving weather forecasts for specific locations. I've found the location query URL's so can develop a database or whatever for each location, now if I have the location code, I need the proper URL to retrieve it's forecast.

Can't quite seem to get it. Could anyone help?

Not sure how omweather getting info, but I've found xml data for both:

http://www.weather.com/services/xmloap.html
http://informer.gismeteo.ru/getcode/xml.php

I've found weather.com's XML data in the meantime, and am getting round to programing some Emacs interface.

The Gismeteo seems to have stopped working, they have changed the XML feed. The one you found is only updated 4 times a day and only features a 24 hour forecast, not an extended one. It has stopped working as a sounce in OMWeather also.
