Working on a new theme: flat
 

Hi all!

I decided to try my hand at creating a theme for Maemo.

Here's what it looks like so far:

There are a lot of problems with the theme right now. EG: Some text blends in with the background. The theme was originally based on the Reflect theme. So some controls still use the reflect theme images.

Wow. That looks great! Once you believe it's fully useable without big issues, definitely would love to try it. =)

Aight. Uploaded an initial version. See first post for link to the deb.

I'll get it into extras once it doesn't suck. hehe

Isn't Reflect the one that looks nice at first but then uses black on dark blue notifications for missed calls and text and emails and some black-on-blue controls?

The original NSeries is usable and nice. Whey don't you base on that? Yellow notifications FTW.

I agree! The original NSeries would make a better base.

The only reason I based the theme on Reflect is because I needed something to learn how to package a theme. That's it! hehe. Just FYI: I'm going to replace everything :-)

Updated the debian package with the latest progress. Still a lot to do though O_O
