Email Attachments: Auto Resize Option
Hello there,
All I use so far is gmail over imap4. Its all pretty straight forward. I just wondered if the other email options (or available apps) allow for an auto resize option on images? For example, when I use the share option to a service, the images being shared have a resize option to save on bandwidth (Small, Medium, Large, Original). Am I missing it or is this not avail for 'sharing' images via email? cheers. |

Re: Email Attachments: Auto Resize Option
Hi Pelago.
Well, I'm referring to just images (possibly videos) really. If I take a photo, and 'share via service' like Flickr, the n900 has an options to select the image size that will be shared. It then performs an automatic resize/compression before the file is sent to service. My question is: Is there/should there be an option to do so when you share via other options like 'Share via Email' to automatically reduce the size of the sent photo or video?? |
Re: Email Attachments: Auto Resize Option
I'd noticed this too.
You can always resize the image and then send, but it's not as neatly done. I think there should be a consistent set of options across the 'share via' service plugins. |
