uKeyboard online keyboard selection??
 

I may in fact be a muppet here but I have installed ukeyboard and can easily see how to change the 'hardware keyboard layout' but not sure how to change to alternative 'onscreen' options.

what am I missing here??

Here you go, is this what you meant? Sorry I just use Thai keyboard to show you as example.

To switch to Other language, click on the copy and paste ( Three Lines) button and select it from the list. Then it will be come your default V.K.

Go to message or anything and bring up the VK.
Once you selected it it will become your default one. Unless you change it later. Thai won't be showing as "Thai" but will show as () instead. Just select it :D

help
i'm tried to installed the ukeyboard many times but it says (unable to download ukeyboard application packeg not found???!!!
i have updated the maemo but still the same.

The repositories are down so you won't be able to download many apps at the moment, apparently it should be up and running some time tomorrow so try again then.

try to install nokia pc suite not ovi & upgrade your N900 then u will get all apps in Maemo apps mngr
