Hi folks,

It will probably sound like a dumb question but I cannot receive what I think are referred to as "wap push messages" on my n900. The messages or requests I am trying to refer are the ones for example sent by my bank that automatically installs a security application on my mobile phone or that triggers a code on my simcard for signing online banking transactions using my mobile electronic signature stored on my simcard. Those are the only things I miss of my n95 days. Do these have anything to do with the unsupported MMS feature? Also, when try to see what applications are sniffing what ports on the xterminal, I do not get "wappushd" deamnon listed opposite to what some users on this forum get. Am I missing something regarding my mobile service provider settings? Note that n900 is not currently supported by any provider where live so I do not have access to automati settings. I can connect to the internet using 3G with no issues. I might simply be missing wap settings of some sort and I do not know where they are stored. I apprecaiate any help.

Hi,

I have the similar Problem.I can not get Wap Push Service messages from my operator and my bank. I tired to receive internet and Wap settings from my Service Provider via WAP Push I did not receive. Thne I tried to get message from the bank with no avail. I can get the same message easily from another phone.
