Hi Urmy - i know everyone says this but please do a search in the forums for what you are looking for as there are many posts about full rootfs, freeing up, removing unused programs, using apt commands to clean things in terminal etc.

Have a hunt and see what you find :)

Isn't it possible to just remove some programs to free up space. Then dl the update ?

hopefully - there is a problem mentioned a few times on here where people get is a viscious circle. Too little memory to install, and not enough to open the app manager etc - (+ Other issues) - so there are some terminal workarounds i think.

Disable and remove the Extras-devel repository, reboot, uninstall some more?

Let us know how that works out.... I've been seeing many people complain of the same issue with NSU - hanging when it's nearly complete. I'm curious to know if it'll work at all, for anyone.

It's insanebrave to try to do a system update without plenty of available root space. Hope it works out!
