Emergency, help me please, thank you. full rootfs
today i tried to update maemo 5 44.1, but it told me "not enough memory of target location" then i typed "df" in the terminal, i got 97% used in rootfs.
i dont know what to do, and i can't update. anyone help me out will be appreciated. thank you |

Hi Urmy - i know everyone says this but please do a search in the forums for what you are looking for as there are many posts about full rootfs, freeing up, removing unused programs, using apt commands to clean things in terminal etc.
Have a hunt and see what you find :) |

Isn't it possible to just remove some programs to free up space. Then dl the update ?

Let us know how that works out.... I've been seeing many people complain of the same issue with NSU - hanging when it's nearly complete. I'm curious to know if it'll work at all, for anyone.
