Conversations unable to maintain Plugin-account connectivity
I've added the "Extra protocol plugins for Conversations and Contacts" plugin to add compatibility for Yahoo and AOL accounts. Things are working great, I can connect to the accounts, they work great, and the integration works well, but I've run into a problem.
Being I use my N900 on AT&T I don't have 3G, so I have the phone auto-connecting to wifi when I'm at home, which is most of the time. It seems that the plugin can't handle switching from cell connection to Wifi connection. 95% of the time, when I go from cell to wifi, my AOL and Yahoo account will be offline with "Network Error" and I'll have to modify the account to get it to reconnect. Is there any way to fix this, or did I not RTFM that I was supposed to? Thanks! |
Re: Conversations unable to maintain Plugin-account connectivity
it's a known issue. after switching conns, put all IM accounts to offline, then back to online. the minor fw did not solve this, it might be a bug in the extra protocols app

Re: Conversations unable to maintain Plugin-account connectivity
I figured it might be. I noticed there was no improvement after the minor update. That's why I figured I'd ask to try and see if there's a fix or if it's known.
