Bright Area On Screen
 

Is this a hardware defect? I believe it may have been caused by smashing the screen in an area, but it is highy unlikely that i pushed down on it hard enought to do that..i cant even press hard enough myself to make the lcd fluctuate. Is this covered by the warranty?
