problems with file manager
 

hey all :) im new to all this maemo stuff but im loving it already.

im having problems with deleting files in the file manager. i have downloaded some files directly from the browser into both the downloads folder and documents folder and now im trying to delete some of them and no matter which of them i try to delete, be it a file or a whole folder it just says that it is skrivebeskyttet or in english write protected and i cant seem to remove this? please help or advise me in any way if u can :)

It sounds like your file system might have a little corruption.

Try to fsck/chkdisk it (depending on your desktop OS).

It sounds like the file is marked read-only. You can either connect your N900 to your computer and delete it from there, or you will need to remove the read-only attribute using the "chmod" command in xterm before deleting the file directly from the device.
