auto-tuner for fm radio?
Hello,
is there an auto-tuner planned for the fm radio? I don't know the frequencies and searching them manually sucks. Is there a way? Has someone a link, google and forum search didn't tell me anything. Thanks, MPW |
Re: auto-tuner for fm radio?
Try searching the station frequencies with google.

Re: auto-tuner for fm radio?
Hi,
that's just a work-around... any other solutions? |
Re: auto-tuner for fm radio?
Hi MPW, welcome to Maemo.org. There's already a Bugzilla enhancement request for the feature you've suggested, why don't you vote for it?
Have a look here: https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7738 If you encounter difficulties using Bugzilla just ask. |
Re: auto-tuner for fm radio?
Write them down in a text file? :p
Hey at least you don't need to be online... |
Re: auto-tuner for fm radio?
automatic tuning of the fm frequencies would be a good thing to have, useful when first setting up the phone and when traveling. separate parking areas for stations found in different locations would be good too.

Re: auto-tuner for fm radio?
I'm currently studying a solution for that. But if anybody have information on how to send info traffic signal to a car radio do not hesitate to share with us. :)

Re: auto-tuner for fm radio?
Hey guys the autoscan feature has been implemented, according to the changelog of the new version of FM Radio.
Look at the changelog here: https://garage.maemo.org/plugins/scm...io&view=markup If you want to test this new version, it has already come in Extras-Testing, all it needs now is some thumbs up! Remember that using Extras-Testing repository could be dangerous, do it only if you exactly know what you're doing. Have a look here: http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...io/2010.01.15/ After downloading and testing it, remember to vote for the package, and we'll see it in Extras soon. |
