32wd_to Reboot Problem Solved?

Since updating to the new firmware, I haven't encountered a single 32wd_to reboot on my N900 (before this update, I was able to lessen the frequency of them by setting enable_off_mode to 0 in /etc/pmconfig).

Can anyone else verify this as well?

Yes I can verify this, its also been said by others already on the forum and said by a nokia rep. on bugtrack when PR1.1 was in closed beta.

Re: 32wd_to Reboot Problem Solved?

To me it has not.
I even think i'v got the 32WD_to since the new software release.
I tried to flash it (flasher 3.5) but did not solve the problem.
The question is, will there be a software solution, or should i sent in my device for repair?
Thx

Re: 32wd_to Reboot Problem Solved?

I have just had a spontaneous reboot.
Bootup reason: 32wd_to
in dmesg
Before that, there seems to be a reboot log, cut short so that I don't know what caused the reboot.
Disabling unused clock
SmartReflex initialized
using governor menu
OneNAND Manufacturer: Samsung
OMAP3 ROM RNG: initializing
TCP reno registered
Switched to high resolution mode on CPU 0
NET: Registered protocol family 2

The original 32wd_to reboot bug was very closely tied to power management.

If this is accurate and you did enable SmartReflex, then turn it off. SmartReflex is not active by default (and never has been) for good reason.

I don't know what SmartReflex is and how to enable/disable it.
Ok, Google found it.

What is the good reason?
Any idea what could enable it? I mean, I couldn't blindly edit /sys/power/sr_vdd1_autocomp or /sys/power/sr_vdd2_autocomp or /etc/pmconfig.
I have PR1.3 Global.
