Sry to open the 1000 thread about DosBox but is there no way to speed up the gameplay (in my case for command & conquer 1) other than frameskip?

i have framskip set to 5 and the game is still not really playable sound is also turned off. any other settings that could affect gamespeed?

I have tried and failed too, I guess we must wait for better dosbox build. there is however freera port discussion, not quite CC1, but runs better than emulation.
