Phone On Speaker mode when answers call
 

need help
some how when evertime i answers the call its always on speaker Mode. I press the speaker button
But dont help at all, cuz if you press the speaker button its lounder,
If i dont press the speaker button. its still on speaker mode but not that loud. i have to turn down the volume all the time. and I dont like it.

Is that normal? cuz i remember when i first bought it never like that.
but some how after i updated to the new version.
then this Speaker thing comes out.


Any Idea y or any help??

Well if you press the speaker and it gets louder, then the speaker probably isnt on in the first place. The earpiece is probably what your referring too. Is it that loud? When I turn the down the volume on mine, it stays down for the next call too.

Are you sure it's actually on speaker mode and it's not just the volume of the earpiece set to high/maximum.

On speaker mode, the stereo speakers on the sides of the phone will produce the sound. Normally, only the earpiece will produce sound.

since the update the sound quality and volume has increase quite a bit, this is the first thing i noticed after updating

Only the top speaker? not the bottom one? and then when you press he speaker button the sound comes from both speakers? Are you sure this is the case because it seems very odd. Put your ear very close to it and double check where the sound is coming from. It might be coming from earpiece but it just seems like its coming from the speaker since its close by.

yes only 1 speaker, (also i did not press the speaker button.

and when i press the speaker button it gose both way. and lounder.

well if your absolutely sure that this is the case, and you know 100% that its not coming from the earpiece, then theres a problem with your phone. Maybe reflash? But again, im pretty sure that the sound is probably coming from the earpiece

haha thanks for the help guys i got it fix.

cuz in 2 days ago i install zagg protection shield, and install into the screen
but the earpiece was shield and block too. thats y i hear sounds out from the top speaker. so, i just cut a small hole to see if thats the prob. and yes thats the problem. ill cut a nicer hole later.

I always thought zagg was custom made to fit the N900...im surprised it didnt already have a hole for the earpiece...and I just ordered mine last week
