Timeout application
 

Hey all

I'm loving my new N900 and the apps available so far are great. One application that I'm still wowed by on the iPhone is the Timeout application.

I love the idea of being able to see recommended gigs/restaurants/exhibitions/etc near me - especially living in London. I know the Google 'near me now' functionality is being discussed and that there is already a solution for the Firefox 'near me' plugin but I still think there's room for an app like the timeout one - especially as it has ratings and reviews available immediately.

I asked a colleague who has this app installed on his iPhone recently - he says it is very useful but complained that it crashes from time to time and is more difficult to use than he would like - so there are things that could be improved upon already :)

I'm not sure if it should be a stand-alone app or a plugin say, for Maeps or similar….?

This is my first post so I hope I'm going the right way about things! I can create a brainstorm thread if necessary but only if people think it's worth it/viable?
