Can't Reply on threads.
 

Hi, just signed up and I have found I cannot reply to threads, only create new ones. I see someone has had this problem before but received no solution. I have tried on several threads but no luck, and have had a scan through the faqs, done a search and looked in the new user threads.

If anyone can help me I would appreciate it, Cheers.

Btw, just to show the message I get when I try to reply on any thread (other than this one obviously):

Jamieaawroe, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
To fully activate your account, you should click on the activation link on the email that was sent to you when you registered. If you didn't receive any activation email, you can have it resent.

You have not followed the confirmation link sent to the email address you provided when you created your account. If you haven't seen the confirmation email, please check you typed your email address correctly and look in any spam or junk email folders you might have.

Thanks everyone. Thats what I initially thought it might be, but was surprised I could create threads. I have tried to send another validation email but it isn't being sent or isn't getting through, plus I checked my junk/spam folders and no joy there. I did receive and confirm an email from noreply@garage.maemo.org to confirm a username though, but I don't know if that is related? I accidental signed up there before signing up here.

Again thanks for any help, I'll have to just keep an eye on my inbox I guess.

Ok guys, sorry about this. Found the email in a spam folder on the AOL website. I didn't realise I don't get the mail in outlook if AOL flag it as spam. Bit poor that really. Cheers anyway!
