cant find hermes
 

tryed it the other day and because my contacts are messy it didnt work

just spent a couple of hours tidying contacts up to facebook names etc , went to download hermes and it seems like it has been pulled from the download section

tryed downloading it from a different source and downloaded the installer file , copied to my documents folder on the n900 , located it with file manager , it opened up the app manager , then said can not find package

any idears would love to get this working now ive sorted my contacts out

The app manager can't install form a .deb file (which is what you should have downloaded). I don't think it's been pulled from the repos though, try again at http://maemo.org/downloads/product/Maemo5/hermes/ and if it still doesn't work, install the downloaded .deb file with "apt-get -i hermes-something.deb" from the X-terminal.

all i keep getting is package file not avalible mate , it opens the app manager , prepares install , then package not found error
