Contacts unmerging automatically

Hey all,

Since I updated to PR 1.1, I have been having my skype + address book contacts constantly unmerging. Has anyone else had this issue?

It is a real pain, and it seems to be when I re-connect to skype after the contacts are merged. The biggest annoyance is that I have all of these contacts on my desktop that just disappear after they are unmerged.

I will create a bug for it soon, once I can replicate exactly how to do it (it has happened a bunch of times), just wanted to know if others had the problem.

yeah. the phone needs a way to remember this sort of thing.

maybe reading IM information from the contact notes?

The strange thing is it did not happen before PR 1.1, they always stayed merged.

are the unmerged or is it re-creating the skype as a new contact?

Mine was creating a new contact and my old contact still had the skype details in the old contact.

They are unmerging. The original contacts no longer have the skype info.

ok so not really the same as mine. I haven't actually tried this since updating to the latest update. So I guess I should merge a few contacts and check it out.
