creating a hotlink, or an executable command
hi, sorry if this question is in the wrong place,
im not sure exaclty what its called so please bare with me i have been wondering if its possbile to create a hotlink so that when i click the icon it will load a programe instead of having to go threw xterminal although im asking for general purpose, the reason im asking is cause i have set red alert up on my n900, now although there is a icon in the menu, if i go threw xterminal i will get scrolling via the keyboard, but with the icon in the menu i dont the comand i use to load ra threw the terminal is /usr/share/games/freera/freera -w 800 -h 480 thanks for any help |
Re: creating a hotlink, or an executable command
He means make a file that when opened runs a simple command such as:
/usr/share/games/freera/freera -w 800 -h 480 Instead of having to open x-terminal and typing it manually, similar to making a .BAT in windows. |

just change Name=yourappname Exec=/usr/bin/osso-xterm yourappname you may also want to modify the Icon line so you get a pretty icon instead of a blue box. Hope this helps :) |
