usb connectivity uninstall causes no wifi connectivity
 

Thought I would share something that I discovered. I installed the application 'maemo-control-usb' and later decided that I did not want it. After I uninstalled, I was able to connect to anything via wifi. Web browsing (page not found), application manager (browse installable applications). After many hours, I discovered that the uninstall process disables service "dnsmasq". After starting it and putting a checkmark beside it to start at every boot my wifi is back working as expected.
