Can't find rootsh though Extras is active on N900
 

I read the wiki article about gaining root access, but I can't find rootsh when I search for it in package manager. Where is it?

If the repositories aren't offline again, you should be able to click the install link here: http://maemo.org/downloads/product/Maemo5/rootsh/

I just checked and it's still in maemo extras's repository.
Try to refresh the catalogs and search again and you should be able to see it

I already had it installed (and forgot about this) that's why I could not find it in the download section. Thanks for help anyway.

Is everybody experiencing connection problems to extra repository at maemo.org? For me the website itself is also very slow.

yeah me too, cant access any repository atm.
i saw an announcemen that repository' site are having trouble and gonna changing web-ip or sumthing like that.
