J2ME or Java app?
Hello,
Does N900 support J2ME? I open one URL from my stock agent and it will install a Java program online. but on my N900, it just pop up to notify me to save a "download.jad" file. I also test it on my old Windows Mobile phone. It will runt Java installer automatically. What's wrong? N900 issue or my stock agent issue? Please help. |

Yes.
This is my fault. After post, I just found there are many threads for Java issue. Thanks for your reminder. |
Re: J2ME or Java app?
If you want to run Java (J2SE through OpenJDK), there is always Easy Debian. It works pretty well.

Re: J2ME or Java app?
Anyone tested some j2se's j2me emulator ?
I used to play with this in a previous life : http://rzr.online.fr/docs/java/diet3..._0/Diet3D.html |
Re: J2ME or Java app?
for what he wants, MicroEmulator is the key. OpenJDK alone isn't enough. By the way, ME will not necessarily permit the installation of all standard j2me apps

Re: J2ME or Java app?
Hi! Not sure if this is really it but I saw some days ago about this.
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/ja...ad-402078.html It's a Oracle Java Micro Edition Embedded Client (OJEC) for arm. Feel free to check it out. |
