[Maemo 5] Catorise Bug Causes Double / Duplicate Shortcuts
 

Hi,
I have two of these shortcuts when I try to add a shortcut on desktop..
Calendar
Clock
Contacts
Conversations
E-mail
Media-player
Phone
Photos
Web

I noticed this today, it has been all normal with one of each app since I bought it.
Only one of these doubles work, the other one does not start the application.

this happened to me yesterday evening too. just the same as you.
for the momenti simply replaced all the shortcuts on the desktop with working ones. still cant say why it happened and how to delete the not workings from the customization menu. no big deal but anyway its annoying.

yesterday i was upgrading via xterminal (catorise and some other stuff) and the x terminal crashed. i apt-checked and updated and upgraded again and it said that all was ok.

then, the problem with shortcuts. were you upgrading too when it happened?

I also upgraded something via AppManager this morning, I think it was Catorise and ShortcutD.

Edit: Yes, uninstalling Catorise solved the problem! And thank you :)

thank you too for pointing out the problem (and the solution). i was ignoring it now you solved it. did u reinstall catorise then?

it's Catorise. uninstalling sorts it out.

Doubled Icons
 

Hi

I have very strange problem. Since yesterday I have some icons in menu doubled:
contacts
clock
calendar
photos
emails
talks
player
internet

I have no idea what is going on with it. Can anybody help?

uninstalling catorise didnt help me. I also have duplicate folders in MyDocs at file manager :), but not via terminal

and after fresh installed catorise i have three same icons :D
