three days into my n900 experience I've come across a hurdle. The easter egg portrait mode doesn.t seem to have any "back" function. I don't seem able to get the history list however much I swipe the screen (though I find that a bit hit and miss even in landscape) and popping the keyboard to get to delete seems to be missing the point somhow.

Am I missing something deeply obvious or is this one of the reasons the feature was hidden for now?

i guess this is the main reason for it not beeing released officialy since you're not able to typ in urls and allways have to browse in fullscreen as well;) you have to switch back in landscape to use all the 'advanced' browsing function;)

Aha, I've found a solution; install shortcutd and you can use the camera button or proximity sensor as a back key, whichever mode you're in. Result.
