Problem uploading non-free package
Hi,
I want to upload a package to non-free Extra as described in http://wiki.maemo.org/Uploading_to_Extras. I received the invitation to upload to Extra. Then I call: dput -f fremantle-extras-devel-non-free PACKAGE_VERSION_*.changes The output is: Uploading to fremantle-extras-devel-non-free (via scp to drop.maemo.org): Enter passphrase for key '/root/.ssh/id_rsa': sh: /tmp/xxx: Permission denied Then the process seems to hang. Is there anything special required to upload non-free packages? Peter |
Re: Problem uploading non-free package
Did you exactly do like here. Also did you notice that now its drop.maemo.org (fqdn =) I'm telling this because it took sweet time of mine to figure just this out.

Re: Problem uploading non-free package
Yes I did that. I just just saw messages that drop.maemo.org is being updated, rebooted, whatever. Maybe I will just wait until tomorrow and try again...

Re: Problem uploading non-free package
I am also trying to get my package uploaded to extras-devel (non-free). I did:
Code:
dput -f fremantle-extras-devel-non-free PACKAGE_VERSION_*.changes I followed the instructions on the wiki page, including getting a garage account, an invitation, and a public SSH key. Will I get an email indicating if my package uploaded, or what errors were there? Also, does Extras Assistant work for non-free packages, or just free ones? Should I use that instead? Thanks for any help. EDIT - Looks like I was just impatient - package is in extras-devel. I guess they get loaded there on a set frequency of 1 hour. |
