NVIDIA Tegra

This looks really good, and has incredibly low power consumption. I hope the next Maemo device has this chip inside. What do you guys think?

I hope that too, but I'm so afraid Nokia will not adopt this solution, but some other company will...

It is confirmed that the next Maemo device will have an OMAP3 family SoC onboard.

TI's been in this business way longer than NVIDIA. They know what's what, they have a much better relationship with Open Source and they've been working closely with Nokia for many years.

Besides, the Tegra doesn't offer any real technical advantages over the OMAP line.

What exactly looks "really good" about it? The power consumption isn't anything impressive, even with nvidia's clever market benefiting "figures".
