[Announce] QNitConverter for Diablo and Fremantle
1 Attachment(s)
I've written up a simple unit converter for Diablo and Fremantle. Right now it is in extras-devel because I don't have an icon. I'm hoping that one of the more graphically-inclined users here can make me some icons. :)
As the name suggests, it is written in QT. For the N900 folks, this shouldn't be a problem, but N8x0 users should watch their root partition free space. Additional conversions can be added upon request. -jkq |

Re: [Announce] QNitConverter for Diablo and Fremantle
I just stumbled across this, and noticed that there doesn't seem to have been any activity on it for a while. Any plans to continue development on this? If you're still trying to find an app icon and are willing to settle for an existing one rather than a custom-made one, you can try http://findicons.com/. Contains a lot of GPL icons, I've found several icons for toolbar actions and such on that site. For icons suitable for a unit converter app, try searching on "measure" and similar words.

Bump, definitely would like to see an icon added... prefer QNit than Gonvert because the interface is much cleaner.

Thanks for the pointer to the icons. I've found one that I like, so I'll try to get it into the package and pushed to extras-testing over the weekend.
It's been a while, so I need to re-remember how this package development stuff goes again. :) -jkq |

Hi,
QNitConverter 0.3-5 is unlocked for promotion. Do you consider promoting it to Extras repository? |

Hi,
Someone had mentioned in the comments that there was a bug converting one of the units, so I was hoping to fix it first. I'm hoping to get to it this week. -jkq |
