Hello please can you help me :( I buy tablet nokia n810. Yesterday I shut down my tablet because I go sleep but in morning I turned on my tablet. But the tablet turned on slow and stay enabled 5 second and last tunrned off and restart begin. And the tablet do this around to infinity. Pleas help me because I am already precarious. My icq is 488701185 thank you very much :(

Turn it off, using the menu you when you press the power switch.

Charge it using the correct Nokia charger until it says battery full.

Turn it on, and watch it.

If it does not start correctly, reflash it folowing these instructions http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_tablet_firmware

There is nothing to worry about. Most likely your N810 battery does not hold charge.
Maybe you should think replacing the battery.

I'm pretty sure this also happened to me. I would turn on my N810 and once you got the the menu everything was locked (all the buttons, keyboard, touch screen etc). Then after about five seconds it would reboot on its own. And it would do this non stop until I manually took the battery out. Luckily a reflash solved the problem and i'v never had the same issue again. It sounds like your having a similar problem. Reflash it.

thanks I sacrificed the battery fully but that does not still do the same. I mean that do not battery problem because when both are turned on after 5 seconds it freezes and last restart. Please what should I do?

How can I connect my Nokia N810 with cable to the PC without having it turned on. Because I am trying it but without turning it on it wont connect

The key is to have the battery fully charged otherwise it won't connect.

But I have full battery but when I put cable to nokia then I put cable to pc. So nothing happens and computer is not connected disabled pda. Please What am I doing wrong?

So, once it's doing the auto reboot thing pull the battery out. Then put the battery back in but don't turn it on. Connect it to your computer. Then turn the device on while holding down the "swap key" on the front. See the the vertical buttons on the front of the N810? Well the swap key is the top one. Once you see the USB icon on the screen you can let go of the swap key. But you would have gotten all that info in the reflashing software. So once you go into the reflashing software you should have all the steps laid in front of you.
