Nethack text/terminal interface
 

Hi There,

Vulture's eye is great I guess, but for me, the text interface for nethack is better. I guess I'm just an old geek.

Is there a way to get vulture's eye to display the text interface, or to get normal terminal based nethack on the n900?

Yeah.

The easiest way is just to telnet to nethack.alt.org.

There's lots of ways to customize the session as well.

Or, indeed, install Easy Debian, apt-get install nethack, and then run it from the console.
