N900 loss of 3G connectivity
 

Has anyone experienced drop of 3G connectivity on their N900s?

For me, after a day or two of uptime, it just stops receiving calls and SMSs - still showing the operator name sometimes. This is a very annoying bug.

Please head over to bug 6484 (https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6484) if this happens to you and help confirm this further with your reports.

By the way, does anyone know if there's a "connectivity daemon" that maybe dumps logs somewhere on the device? Thanks.

the problem isnt isolated to 3g
it seems to happen in poor reception areas
using the 2g/3g switcher applet fixes it
(i switch from dual to 2g, then once it gets a signal back to dual)

and it is very annoying
