Soft poweroff clarification
So what exactly is a soft poweroff and how can be run from cli? To which state is it comparable on a desktop PC? S1/S3?
And what exactly is the difference between "shutdown" and "poweroff" commands in Terminal (except that shutdown doesn't work but it has some options). |
Re: Soft poweroff clarification
Disconnect all devices from sending and receiving. Is like a PDA without connectivity.

Re: Soft poweroff clarification
Not sure about the first but poweroff is basically a shortcut to "shutdown -h now". Shutdown supports more actions as the system shuts down than poweroff does.

Re: Soft poweroff clarification
So what is the difference between soft poweroff and offline mode?

Re: Soft poweroff clarification
