mplayer on N900:where/what is the config file?
Try to play with mplayer's volume, surprised to find the usual config file is NOT there any more and the name of the config file has also changed. N900 is a strange beast.
The old mplayer.conf is now called config? The old location was at /etc/mplayer/mplayer.conf, the new location? I put menu in config to /home/user/.mplayer/config and mplayer crapped out. Yike. Anybody play with mplayer, lately? TIA, bun |

Re: mplayer on N900:where/what is the config file?
the best configuration is this... for all kind of video...
root leafpad /home/user/.mplayer/config or nano ~/.mplayer/config and delete all and write in it ao = pulse aspect=16:10 screenw=848 screenh=480 subq=4:bframes=2:b_pyramid=normal:weight_b thanks to the previous advice this is a successfull of mostly for all avi and kind of type of video. (the most important line is the last one that's "subq=4:bframes=2:b_pyramid=normal:weight_b") byez |
